Gahdamn that might be the longest title of any post so far I’ve done. Costco hotdog-sized fuckin title. Bare with me.
I’m writing this review because this super-niche product subtype DOES interest some weed geeks out there and also because it encapsulates why I always check to see if the dispensary I’m in has any Highland Provisions infused pre-rolls.
This piece of jewelry tested at 301.756 mg and .651 mg of CBD. It’s a blend of Apple MAC which is MAC#1 crossed with Porsche aka Trophy Wife. MAC#1 is one of my all time favorites and you can read why here.
This Apple MAC is then infused with motherfucking Tangie n’ Cheese live rosin batter. You know what this is? This is a masterful canna-rendition of a slice of homemade apple pie with a piece of cheese melted on top.
If you know you know. If you don’t know then you’ve got some work to do.
Salute to whoever dreamed up this tummy-grumbling combination of ingredients. The infused pre-roll market is big and while so many compete on price (going low) or total THC% exclusively but Highland Provisions always balances impact, or “getting your damn monies worth” with drool-inducing genetics.
Would I like to enjoy a piece of Apple Pie with an alien with a piece of cheese melted on top?
Take a few minutes to peruse their library of cultivars and you’ll see that the curation here is just at a premium level if you’re a foodie-grade flavor chaser with your weed.
Everything else here is typical Highland Provisions. Cone lit up fine and burned even. Taste was something you’d expect from a hand rolled, exceeding the quality of many lesser infused pre rolls on the market.
No fucking idea what the genetics say the “indica/sativa” ratio is but I don’t think it matters that much with this type of high. At least for me, with my very modest tolerance level, I just get super high.
I wouldn’t recommend these to beginners. I bought a tin of Highland’s infused Cowboy Kush way back when and that was my first quality infused experience and it was a little much at the time.
But the years progressed and now I enjoy Highland Provisions infused pre rolls like I enjoy a good stout or porter, which is to say, in a measured way over time.
Because they kick.
