If you’ve landed here after Googling “are Good Tide gummies legit” or something along these lines I can save you a bunch of time and just tell you that yes, they are legit AF and you should definitely get some.
I’ve tried dozens of different edibles brands over the last 7+ years and can easily say without a doubt the brand I’ve become most loyal to are Wyld and their Good Tide products.
As a point of clarification, this review is focused on Good Tide gummies. Good Tide however is owned by the Wyld brand, which is why you will see both names referenced on occasion in this review.
For me, there are three primary reasons why I and many others have become loyal Good Tide riders. I’ll dive into each of these primary factors in more detail below:

3 Big Reasons Why Keep Buying Good Tide
I can boil down my love of Good Tide to three primary reasons which include reliable consistency, tasty flavors, and potency of effect.
There are other reasons why I like Good Tide too, such as the design work, the texture of the gummies themselves, and the sustainable packaging.
This review however will focus mostly on the consistency, flavors, and potency, as those are the biggest criteria most gummy shoppers seem their selections by.
Price is definitely a big criteria for most as well and one wherein Good Tide will always lose out to bad tasting cheap distillates. When it comes to hash rosin infused options, Good Tide are competitive.
Furthermore, I generally buy my edibles on the edibles daily discount day, which usually nets me 15-20% off retail anyways. If you don’t shop daily deals you really ought to give it a try, I’ve easily saved thousands in flower over the years.

When It Comes to Edibles, Consistency is King
Whether they be the original formula 10 mg pure THC or a 1:1:1 THC:CBD:CBN specialty, I continue to seek out Wyld products because I know every time I spend my hard-earned money on them they’ll uphold their end of the transactionary bargain and deliver what I want.
To deliver every single time, over dozens of times, over years, requires having your production processes down PAT.
The sourcing, the measuring, the mixing, the portioning… Good Tide’s quality control must be on Din Tai Feng levels of organization because I’ve never been disappointed once and I’ve probably spent thousands on these eddies over the years.
Consistency is key, not just in terms of feeling like you got your money’s worth but also for instilling enough confidence in regular consumers to confidently recommend them to other people, some of which may be new to the amazing world of recreational cannabis and thus may have lower, more sensitive tolerances.
Being able to recommend a product I know with 100% confidence is going to do what it says it’s going to do is a huge reason why Wyld products like Good Tide have been my go-to response whenever recommending edibles to people.
Taste: Real Fruit Flavoring FTW
The second reason I hold Good Tide in such high regard is related to the quality and consistency of the flavors.
Look, I like a good Kool-Aid-esque fake flavoring just as much as the next American but over the long haul, it is the refreshingly realistic and naturally-derived fruit flavors presented in Wyld and Good Tide products that makes them a tasting experience you look forward to.
The “Uplifting” pineapple gummies are actually flavored with pineapple juice concentrate. The “Mellow” mango gummies are flavored with mango juice concentrate. The “Balanced” guava gummies are flavored with guava juice concentrate.

This is how it should be. Using real fruit flavors increases cost of production over synthetics but I’m glad that Good Tide is willing to invest in this aspect of production as I’m happy to incur that cost as a consumer.
Strength: Hash Gummies That Kick
The third reason I like Good Tide is because of the strength of the high. Like with natural flavors and dosing, potency also overlaps with consistency. Not only do Good Tide’s kick, they kick every damn time, which I can’t say about most edibles on the market.
Quality control is a real thing that companies should put at the top of their priority lists, especially those operating in the edibles space.
All it takes is one lackluster under-dosed experience and the consumer will likely move onto another brand since competition in the gummies segment is so high.

Good Tide seems aware of this and must have some seriously robust internal quality control systems in place in order to ensure the rosin extract is evenly mixed into the gummy gelatin mixture to guarantee each dose hits the same.
Or maybe the person doing the mixing is just hella passionate about their job. Either way, feeling the full impact of 10mg’s worth of solventless hash rosin every single time I eat one is a luxury I am most definitely thankful for!
Good Tide have their operations down so thoroughly that the receive top marks in consistency of dosing, flavoring, and potency, which is all I can ask for in a gummy company.
Now that I’ve outlined why I love these little bastards so much, let’s delve into the specifics of how long they take to hit, how hard they hit, and why I think products like Good Tide are the future of edibles.
How Long Does It Take For Good Tide To Hit?
On an empty-ish stomach I start to feel Good Tide gummies hit around the 30 minute mark where I start to very subtly chill out.
Stress continues to melt away for a nice 5-10 minute lead-up period before I start to become cognizant of my Good Tides kicking in.
Good Tide list a 90 minute activation time on their packaging, while also stating it may take up to 2 hours or more to take effect.
Why such the large discrepancy in time to effect? Well, because there are a lot of different variables that can change how long it takes to feel a gummy including your pre-existing tolerance level, how much or how little food is in your stomach, and how your own body metabolizes cannabinoids and how sensitive you are to said metabolites.
So unfortunately, no edible maker can guarantee a precise time to impact. I can tell you though for a 6 ‘2 male weighting approximately 190lbs I begin to feel Good Tide gummies at around 30-40 minutes on an empty stomach and about 60 minutes if taken with a substantial meal.
In terms how the THC settles in, the beginnings of the high are pretty cerebral for me, at least in regards to the “uplifting” pineapple flavor I’m reviewing right now.
For example, I wasn’t even aware that “uplifting” was the intended effect until just checking the package now as I am writing this, which makes me believe there is indeed a correlation between the strain used for the rosin extraction and the unique sensation it imparts, even when digested.
I will say though that after the onset, pretty much all edibles have a way of hitting me in the body and relaxing me the fuck out, especially compared to smoking or vaping, so the whole stain-specific edibles effect is something I still want to learn more about.
In terms of the Good Tide , after first noticing the effects cerebrally, the rest of my body generally follows and within 10-20 minutes of first noticing the onset I feel a rapid acceleration up to cruising altitude which, much to my delight, lasts easily for 2+ hours.

Cool, But How HARD Do They Hit?
“Yo bro how hard do those hit though? Do they get you fucked up?”
Inquiring as to the strength of impact is a totally valid question to have when choosing which edibles to buy, although getting fucked up generally is no longer my main aim, personally.
But since we’re all looking to get high here, I’ll answer the potency question bluntly; yes, Good Tides are strong. Surely if you started stacking them (20mg, 30mg etc) you could get as fucked up as you’d like.
I don’t recommend this but it’s a free country. For me, a single serving of 10mg is plenty, although I have dosed multiple servings in an overlapping fashion so that as the high front he first serving dissipates the high from a second serving is there to keep my elevated for even longer.
It’s these potent and longstanding highs that cause me to have no doubt in my mind that they are actually dosing these with the amount of solventless hash rosin required to create a 10mg/serving gummy, as it says on the packaging.
However because these are solventless hash rosin infused and not just cheap distillate infused, consumers are getting a whole bunch of additional cannabinoids they wouldn’t normally get in a distillate-based gummy.
This is to say, 10mg of solventless hash infused gummies FEEL like they hit HARDER than a 10mg distillate gummy, and this is why I think hash infusion is the way of the future.
This is highly subjective but if you go between distillate gummies and quality solventless rosin gummies you will know what I’m talking about.
The hash rosin definitely hits harder and feels like it saturates my entire body better than the equivalent dosing of THC distillate.

If you’ve never tried a rosin-infused edible then I highly recommend you give them a try.
Yes, they are worth the price premium over the distillates I promise. Eating one 10mg live rosin gummy like these Good Tide has the equivalent “strength of impact” to me as 18-20mg worth of distillate-infused alternatives.
Not that you’re going to blast off into a different universe just because of the rosin. Hash rosin is strong but there is always stronger.
If you really want to see god I recommend going for something even more concentrated like Gummy Buds RSO cubes, the “cricket gun” of gummies, or just get a bottle of nano-emulsified rosin-infused Mega Drops from Magic Number if you really want to stretch your tolerance.
Good Tide hit a goldilocks zone for me where I’m usually like “oh yeah, I feel it” without ever getting to the “oh shit, I might have overdone it” level of stoned.
The high lasts a few hours, another great feature I suspect unique to rosin infusion, setting and staying with you for the long haul, one of the greatest hallmarks of edibles vs smoking IMO.
Props to Good Tide again on going with eco-friendly packaging here vs single-use plastic or even recyclable plastic (much of which generally doesn’t actually end up getting recycled).
Good Tide containers not only look rad, have a simple press-button child resistant lid design, but are also made of compostable and recyclable paper and the company is climate neutral certified too, which is commendable.

Summary: Good Tides Are Good Value
It took me a while to come around to hash rosin infused edibles, largely because of the slight price premium, but more so because gummies were never in my top 3 preferred methods of consumption (joints, vaporizers, home-made edibles).
After trying these Good Tides though they’ve become my go-to. The only other time I’ll deviate is if I see other rosin-infused products or if I go back to the classic Wyld brand for some more therapeutic 1:2 or 1:1:1 ratio gummies with CBD, CBN, or CBG.

The future is bright for Good Tide as a brand. The original lineup has a lot of offer in terms of precise cannabinoid blends while Good Tide bring the base with their delicious rosin infusions.
The guava, pineapple, and mango flavors all rock. There is also a grapefruit, kiwi strawberry, and passion fruit which I have not yet tried.
I’m glad to see them expanding their lineup. Will we see limited edition releases in the future? Perhaps a basil mint summer blend? Maybe a cinnamon vanilla clove for the fall?
Leaning even further into the solventless hash rosin angle, what about limited edition single-strain partnerships with big local organic growers?
Heck, the only downside to Good Tide are they taste so great but I generally want to dose past 10mg so I have to limit myself to just one gummy. If they dosed them at say, 1mg/gummy then I could easily devour a whole bag!
I mostly jest. Good Tide have a great thing going for them which made this one of the easiest reviews I’ve written, one which I’ve been meaning to draft for quite some time but never finished because I always finish my gummies before being able to take pictures.
That alone encapsulates my ravenous feelings for these delicious little squares.
What about you? I’d really like to try more rosin infused edibles and am open to suggestions. Let me know in the comments below who you fuckin with!
